Da quando ero passato al 4.x con l'iphone 3G avevo notato subito un consumo anomalo della batteria, poi migliorato leggermente con la versione 4.2.1 dell'iOS.
Ma con l'iphone 4 posso dire che il fw 4.2.1 si beve la batteria tutta d'un fiato! Da non riuscire ad arrivare a sera! Ma qual รจ la causa? Find my phone? Game Center? Notifiche push? Background?
Ho fatto diversi tentavi ed alla fine ho ottenuto ottimi risultati seguendo questi semplici passi:
- entrare in Impostazioni - Notifiche ed attivarle
- tasto Home
- aprire Game Center ed attivare le Notifiche Push quando lo richiede
- aprire nuovamente le Impostazioni - Notifiche Game Center and disable (all three)
- disable all notifications
- go to Settings - Phone and off FaceTime
- only if active, Settings - Mail, contacts and calendars off my MobileMe Find Phone
With these simple settings the life of my battery has lengthened dramatically. I do not even seem real! I should point out that since they were implemented, I have never used the above functions, so in my case it made no sense to keep them active.
From some tests and comparisons with the devices of my friends I can say that Game Center ( although it has never been used) is the leading cause of consumer exaggerated. In second place followed by the Push Notifications Face Time (which seems to take an active data connection permanently on 3G network with continuous exchange of data).
