iPhone 3G updated to firmware 4.2.1
After a bit 'of indecision, I updated my "obsolete" with the highly anticipated 3G iPhone firmware 4.2.1. My first subjective impressions are positive immediately. The delays that were visible, with firmware 4.1 newly restored, seem to have disappeared, and ultimately seems to have returned to the glory of speed and firmware 3.x. No more slow movements or animations snap the Springboard icon, as was the case before the opening and closing applications. The fade-out by the sound or video games has improved. As for battery usage I have not noticed obvious differences. So after months of firmware that have weighted our iPhone, almost like there was no intention to make it look old and slow "compared with the roaring iPhone 4, we can now again enjoy our melafonino without contracting the syndrome hourglass ...
